Kawagama Staked through to Wolf Creek Trail (#68).  East end staked from end of trail 64 over to east shore of Kawagama.

Reports of Ski-Doos riding everywhere on the big lake.
Official Trail Status Area trails are all OPEN.

Summer Staff 2010

 

Old Mill Marina is looking to hire summer staff.  We need two staff available to work full-time starting the end of April or first week of May, plus an additional two staff available to work full-time starting the end of June.  All four positions run until the end of Labour Day weekend, with the opportunity for additional hours in the fall if staff are available.  Please email your resume to info@oldmillmarina.ca, or call Rob at 705-766-2214.

 

Lions Camp Dorset is also looking for summer staff.  Two positions are available - Recreationist Program Coordinator and Life Guard Program Coordinator.  Interested parties should contact Steve Woolman at woolman@vianet.ca.

 

New For Winter 2010

 

We have several new things happening this winter at Old Mill Marina.  For starters, be sure to stop by the store and check out the greatly expanded offering of Ski-Doo Clothing and Riding Gear.  We are your source for BRP Ski-Doo suits, helmets, t-shirts, and gloves, as well as tunnel bags, covers, and many other accessories for your Ski-Doo!

 

Starting this winter, the store will also be offering an expanded selection of hot chocolate, coffee, hot dogs, and other snacks for when you need a quick warm up and bite to eat when out riding the trails.  On Saturdays, once the Kawagama Ice Trail is staked, we will also be having a bonfire in front of the store from 10:00 till 3:00, giving you a great spot to warm up!

 

Now Pumping 91 Octane Fuel 

 

We have made the winter switch to Premium Unleaded gasoline, due to popular demand with our snowmobile customers.  Petro Canada's 91 Octane fuel will be the only grade of gasoline available at Old Mill Marina until April 15th, 2010, when we will switch back to regular fuel (87 Octane) for the summer boating season.
