Rentals 

OFSC Trails throughout the MSR area are all CLOSED.  This means we are currently not renting any snowmobiles.  We do not expect to see the trails reopen this season, and anticipate that the snowmobile rental season is over.  Thanks for your interest!

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

• ALL DAMAGES ARE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF RENTER

• $1,500 damage deposit required – cash, Visa, MasterCard or Amex

• Must be 21 years of age

• Must possess an unrestricted, valid Driver’s License

• Gas and oil are extra

• Trailer is not included

• Pick up and Delivery is extra

• Snowmobile clothing is not included

• Helmets are not included

• All prices are subject to change

• Rentals are subject to availability

• Day rental is 9:00 am to 4:30 pm

• Sunday rental is 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

• Late returns will be subject to full daily rental fees (weekday or weekend as applicable)

• Early pickup (3:00 pm or later on the day before rental) is available for $100, subject to machine availability

• Rentals are only available when OFSC trails are indicated as OPEN or LIMITED on the MSR (Muskoka Snowmobile Region) Website.  All rentals are cancelled whenever area trails are marked CLOSED.

DEPOSIT POLICY:  The following deposit is required at time of rental in order to reserve a rental unit:

• First day of rent, plus applicable taxes, will be charged to the credit card used to place reservation upon confirmation of rental. 

• If rental is only for one day, then payment in full for the rental is processed as deposit.

• Deposit is due for each machine rented. 

CANCELLATION POLICY:  Due to the seasonal nature of snowmobile rentals, cancellations are disruptive, hard to accommodate, and the following terms will be strictly enforced:

• Cancellation with 7 or more days notice - deposit will be refunded, less a $50 administrative charge.  Refund will be processed on the credit card used for the reservation within three days of cancellation notice.

• Cancellation with less than 7 days notice but more than 48 hours notice - any refund is subject to our ability to rent the machine(s) to someone else.  If the machine is successfully rented to a third party, then the full deposit will be refunded, less a $50 administrative charge.  However, if the snowmobile is not successfully rented to a third party, the deposit is not refundable and payment for the full rental period will be charged to the credit card used for the rental reservation.

• Cancellation with less than 48 hours notice - no refund is available and payment for the full rental period will be immediately charged to the credit card used for the rental reservation.

WEATHER-RELATED CANCELLATIONS:

• If OFSC trails are closed, all rentals are immediately cancelled and full refund of any deposits will be issued.

• If OFSC trails are open and cancellation is due to rain at the time of rental, 50% deposit refund will be issued.
